Ventilation and microclimate control -> Heat exchangers - Recuperators
Used in all types of poultry production:
- fattening of the broiler chicken
- production of hatching eggs
- turkey production
- turkey fattening
- goose fattening
- breeding stocks of geese
A recuperator is a device that allows you to recover heat from the exhaust air from the poultry house. The main element of the recuperator is a heat exchanger, the type of which determines the type of the recuperator.
Two air streams collide in the heat exchanger: one exhausted from the poultry house and the other supplied through the intake openings. This is how energy is exchanged. Although the air streams do not mix, they transmit heat to each other.
The internal structure of the heat exchanger and the type of materials used determine the quality differences between the same types of exchangers. Rotary heat exchangers (devices with this type of exchanger are sometimes called regenerators) are characterized by a very high efficiency of up to 95% of recovered heat and are successfully used in buildings of various cubic volumes.
